8th Conference on Wind Energy and Wildlife Impacts (CWW2025)

Jan 15, 2025

The 8th Conference on Wind Energy and Wildlife Impacts (CWW2025) will take place in Montpellier, France, 8-12 September 2025. This year’s theme, “Coexistence in a Changing World: Sharing Existing Knowledge, Challenges and Emerging Solutions,” highlights the critical need for innovative approaches and knowledge sharing in addressing the challenges of wind energy development and its impact on wildlife.

Why CWW is the place to be:
CWW is a globally recognized event and one of the largest conferences focused on the wind energy development and wildlife interactions. It serves as a platform for sharing knowledge, expertise, and experiences while developing solutions to avoid, minimize and mitigate the impacts of wind farms on wildlife – both onshore and offshore. Whether you’re a researcher, a conservationist, or a wind energy professional, this is your chance to share your work, connect with other experts, and contribute to future solutions.

The last edition in 2023 was co-organized by Oikon and Supernatural in Šibenik, Croatia. This year, our director, Mirna Mazija is honoured to be part of the Scientific Advisory Committee (SAC), contributing her expertise to ensure the highest scientific standards for the conference.
