At the 𝟴𝘁𝗵 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗻 𝗪𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗪𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘀 – 𝗖𝗪𝗪𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱, held in Montpellier, France, from 8–12 September, our director Mirna Mazija contributed in multiple ways – as a member of the Scientific Advisory Committee, as a speaker, and as a session moderator.

“It was a great honour to be part of the Scientific Advisory Committee and to contribute to shaping this important event, which brings together all stakeholders involved in the development of wind energy”, said Mirna.

Mirna shared insights on “𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗳𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝟯𝗗 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗰𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘄𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗿𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗻 𝗵𝗮𝗯𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘁 𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗲𝗿𝗼𝗟𝗜𝗗𝗔𝗥 𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆” and together with Winifred Frick, co-moderated the Special Session “𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗠𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗕𝗮𝘁 𝗠𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝘁 𝗪𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝗘𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆 𝗙𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀”.

This year’s theme, 𝗖𝗼𝗲𝘅𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗮 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱: 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗘𝘅𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗞𝗻𝗼𝘄𝗹𝗲𝗱𝗴𝗲, 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗘𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀, highlighted the importance of exchanging innovative solutions, sharing successful experiences, and fostering collaboration across borders!

For the upcoming CWW2027 in Spain, Mirna has been entrusted with the role of Chair of the Scientific Advisory Committee, together with Winifred Frick from Bat Conservation International and Sytske van den Akker from Waardenburg Ecology!
